An Investment in Memories That Last a Lifetime
Life moves fast. The big milestones, the quiet moments, the love and laughter you share—they can all feel like a blur. That’s why investing in photography is so much more than booking a session; it’s preserving the moments that matter most.
When you invest in professional photography, you’re creating a lasting legacy. These aren’t just photos—they’re the memories you’ll hold onto when the days feel far away. They’re the images that will decorate your walls, fill your albums, and be cherished by generations to come.
My goal is to give you more than beautiful pictures. I want to create a meaningful experience that captures the heart of your story—your family, your relationships, your life exactly as it is.
Because moments fade, but photographs keep them alive forever.

Family & Couples
What should we wear for the session? I recommend wearing outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident! Stick to neutral tones or rich jewel tones that complement each other without being too “matchy-matchy.” Avoid large logos or busy patterns. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to help you coordinate your look!
What is the best time of day for family photos? The best time for outdoor photos is during the “golden hour,” shortly after sunrise or before sunset, when the lighting is soft and flattering. For indoor sessions, we’ll work around the natural light in your space to find the perfect time.
Where do you recommend we take the photos? We can shoot at a location that feels meaningful to your family—your home, a favorite park, or even coffeeshop. If you’re undecided, I can suggest a few beautiful spots that work great for family photos.
How long will the session last? Family sessions typically last about 30 minutes to one hour. This gives us plenty of time to capture both posed and candid moments without feeling rushed.
Can we include extended family members, like grandparents? Absolutely! Please let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. For larger groups, there may be an additional fee to ensure we have enough time to capture everyone.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate? No worries! If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll reschedule for the next available date that works for you. I always keep an eye on the forecast and will stay in touch leading up to the session.
How do you handle kids who don’t want to cooperate? Kids will be kids, and that’s okay! My sessions are relaxed and fun, and I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to keep them engaged. If your little one needs a break, we’ll roll with it and capture some candid moments in the meantime.
Do you provide props, or should we bring our own? Feel free to bring something meaningful along if you are wanting to incorporate it into the session. Please let me know ahead of time what you are bringing!
Can we bring our pet(s) to the session? Of course! Well behaved pets are always welcome since they are part of the family. Don’t forget to bring a trusted human to help with your fur baby when not in photographs.
How do you make sure everyone looks natural in the photos? Patience and prompts.
What kind of poses or activities will we do? Movement captures our natural and candid moments. We will be walking, sitting, laughing and any activities that are normally done within the home.
How long will it take to get our photos back? You’ll receive your fully edited gallery within 2–3 weeks after our session. I’ll keep you updated every step of the way!
How will we receive our photos? Your photos will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. You’ll also have the option to order professional-quality prints directly from the gallery.
Do you offer editing or retouching services? Yes! All of your photos will be professionally edited for lighting, color, and minor touch-ups to ensure they look their best. If you have specific requests, feel free to let me know!
Will we get full-resolution images? Yes! You’ll receive high-resolution images, perfect for printing, along with web-friendly versions for sharing online.
Can we order additional prints or albums through you? Yes! Prints and albums are available through the proofing site. Want something custom? Just let me know!
What’s included in your family photography package? My family photography packages include a personalized session, a curated online gallery of professionally edited images, and the option to purchase prints or albums. Contact me for full details and pricing!
Do you require a deposit? Yes, a 50% deposit is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.
Are there any additional fees (travel, extra time, etc.)? Travel within 30 miles of St. Louis City is included. For sessions outside this area or for extra time beyond the standard session, additional fees may apply. I’ll let you know about any extra costs upfront.
Maternity
When is the best time to book a maternity session? The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 36 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round, and you’re still comfortable enough to move around. However, I’m happy to work with you at any stage of your pregnancy!
What should I wear for a maternity session? Flowy dresses, fitted gowns, or even your favorite jeans and a comfy top can look amazing—whatever makes you feel confident and beautiful. If you’d like, I can provide styling guidance or recommend wardrobe options that work best for your session.
Can my partner and/or other children be included in the photos? Absolutely! I encourage including your partner and kids to make the session even more meaningful. These are moments your whole family will cherish forever.
Where do maternity sessions take place? We can shoot outdoors in a beautiful natural setting, at your home for a cozy vibe, or in a studio for a more polished look. Let’s choose a location that reflects your personality and style.
How long does a maternity session last? Maternity sessions typically last about 30 minutes to One hour. This allows plenty of time for outfit changes, different poses, and capturing candid moments.

What if I feel awkward or unsure how to pose? Don’t worry! My job is to guide you every step of the way. I’ll help you feel relaxed and comfortable so we can capture your natural beauty and connection during this special time.
Can I bring multiple outfits? Yes! Bringing a couple of outfits can add variety to your session. We can plan for a mix of styles—casual, elegant, or a little bit of both!

Newborn
When is the best time to schedule a newborn session? The ideal time for a newborn session is within the first 7–14 days after birth, while your baby is still sleepy and cuddly. However, I believe every stage is beautiful, so if your baby is older, we can still create stunning, meaningful images!
Do you come to our home, or do we need to travel? Newborn sessions are typically done in the studio. This allows everyone to feel relaxed, and we can include colors and meaningful details that match your nursery. In-home sessions are also an option.
How long does a newborn session last? Newborn sessions typically last 1.5–2 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing those sweet moments. There’s no rush—we’ll go at your baby’s pace.
What should we wear? Neutral, soft colors work best to keep the focus on your baby and the connection between you. Think cozy and comfortable! Avoid busy patterns or logos. For parents and siblings, simple outfits like jeans and a neutral top work beautifully.
Do you provide props, or should we supply our own? I keep things natural and timeless, so I don’t use many props. However, if you have sentimental items—like a favorite blanket or toy—I’d love to incorporate them into the session.
What if my baby is fussy or doesn’t sleep? That’s totally okay! Babies are unpredictable, and I work around their needs. Whether your baby is wide awake or snoozing away, we’ll capture beautiful moments that reflect who they are.
Can siblings and pets be included in the session? Yes! I encourage including siblings and even furry family members. These moments are about celebrating your growing family, and everyone is welcome.
What happens during the session? We’ll follow your baby’s lead. If they need to eat, be soothed, or have a diaper change, we’ll take breaks as needed. I’ll gently guide you through the session to capture a mix of family, individual, and detail shots (like tiny toes and fingers).
Do we need to prepare anything before the session? Show up at the studio and have any sentimental items or outfits you’d like to use handy. Other than that, just relax! I’ll take care of the rest.
How long will it take to get our photos? You’ll receive your fully edited gallery within 2–3 weeks after the session. I take care to make sure every image reflects the beauty of these first precious days.
